I’ve listened to Ray Dalio’s book Principles, and he’s full of earned wisdom. But when paired up with an equally intelligent and driven cohost like Reid Hoffman (and his production team), it becomes a narrative that I can relate to, much better. It’s a great example of learning through storytelling, and the principles they discuss are compelling for a corporate setting. The boldness it takes to tell someone way above you in the chain of command that you think they’re wrong is rare, but when you put a framework and principles around how to do it, it becomes a framework to better outcomes.
